Ham Salad Recipe Ingredients

  • 150g bag salad leaves – just choose your favourite – I usually use iceberg for this recipe, but it's nice made with a bistro salad leaf blend too.
  • 4 vine tomatoes – sliced into quarters
  • 1/2 cucumber – sliced
  • 250g baby beetroot – sliced into halves, if you fancy spicing things up, choose beetroot in a spicy dressing.
  • 2 large carrots – peeled and grated
  • 340g can sweetcorn
  • 300g smoked ham slices – just snipped into strips – you can make this salad with our shredded ham to make it extra delicious!

  • 150g mature cheddar cheese – grated
  • 2 heaped tbs mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard

How To Make Our Ham Salad Recipe With Cheese

  • Get yourself four plates and share out all the salad ingredients between the plates – I like to load mine up – salad leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, baby beets, sweetcorn, ham then cheese.
  • Mix up the mustard mayo – just add the two ingredients together and stir into each other. Drizzle over the salads.

I usually make ham salad recipe without celery for the kids (because they hate it) – but sprinkle some in for me.
