Fifty-fifty though I made each payment and took screenshots from my bank to prove information technology, they kept harassing me near my payment. The tech support was awful (called 4 times to attempt to straighten out the issue). No ane seemed to know what they were looking at or doing. It was extremely obvious that the support team was working from home and irritated that I was bothering them with a question. This went on for iii months. I unenrolled my pupil.

Honesty, I call up it'southward corking to have an opportunity to get a High School diploma through Penn Foster. But I believe they are money motivated and accept no real concern for their customers. There is a lot of personality coming from the 'Teacher". This interfere with professional carry and questions the legitimacy of the entire entity. From different sources of information that I have collected over time, I take learned that in some instances the schoolhouse is requiring prior education in connection with the very educational program that is existence paid for to exist larn. Then you would take to ask the question; If I am already educated in this area, then why do I need Penn Foster? For Example: I want to larn HS Algebra! Well, beginning you lot'll need to know HS Algebra because we volition not teach y'all as with other schools. It is the whole reason why people become to school. To larn!
Then, rather they are willing to admit that they need to brand some changes or non, it is definitely a question that need to be asked. And I believe information technology will be. Taking time to understand your students/customers, helping in areas of uncertainty. We know that Education is serious business, as with costs and funding and the boxing between the two goods. If client service is put on the back end of the two, you'll surely have your full share of backlash which includes bad reviews, BBB reporting, Suits with many students dropping out to gain negative affect to their credit written report. Penn Foster should take a closer look at what it believe its goals are for its customers as an accredited entity and work toward that end. Just my opinion!

This company will not be recommended past me! They are awful to attempt and become assistance from. My son signed upwards for the electrical elective and after months of report and trying to get aid nosotros had to switch electives and so he can get his diploma. When I call asking for assistance the person I FINALLY get to speak to after several emails and messages will just tell me the answers are wrong and non answers that can be googled. We are non trying to Google the answers and he is definitely taking notes and studying. We had a Primary electrician aid him with ane of the exams after he failed and the principal electrician failed it besides. Now I just paid $100 to switch electives so we can exist washed with this!
I would honey to know how many people have suffered and wasted time and money on this course. It's like they know when you have this grade you will have to switch and they will make more money. I'm totally appalled with the time information technology takes to get someone to get back to yous (weeks) and so yous get NO help. I finally had to call and just refuse to get off until someone could assist me. They were no help, but more than willing to accept my credit card # to switch electives. We wasted about six months with this only to beginning all over over again. Please do non use them!

As the title states, Penn Foster still has not given me my diploma fifty-fifty though I've already completed the program seven months agone. I've contacted Penn foster customer service numerous times via email and number just they are no help whatsoever, they just give me the same robotic response.... Information technology's infuriating. In that location is no fashion that the postal services are delayed by seven months!. I've spoken to three or more dissimilar people and each time they said that they'll guild a new diploma for me but it's funny because I've never received a single one. What is happening? I'll never know because they don't response to my emails nor will they give me a valid respond when I call them. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life and I've but come to take that I'll never receive my physical diploma.

I signed up for Penn Foster in April at the beginning of the pandemic due to my job temporarily endmost I was out of work for months. I didn't realize they were charging me regardless even though I never officially started any of their courses due to the stress the pandemic brought on my family. I chosen today to notice out they were charging me even though I never had started whatsoever of their programs and informing me I owe them 200.00 for null. It was a nightmare. I would advise anyone to research other options only become get a GED study guide from your local bookstore. Go that route. It is widely accepted and you know you lot can't go wrong. Are practice the smart thing. Exercise your research. If there was a zippo they would have accomplished that rating. BEWARE please.

This consequence is regarding a nsf fee that I was charged for a CLOSED checking business relationship. This account was not a saved payment method on my student portal. The last payment I had made with it was on October 28th, 2019. Since then, I have been using a different business relationship. I have spoken to a supervisor on 7/fourteen and he said there is nothing he can do nearly it and that it was probably my fault this happened. How in the world could this closed business relationship exist charged When it isn't even a payment method on my student portal? Yes, the fee may only be 35 dollars. But I shouldn't have to pay for something that wasn't even my fault to begin with!

After centre school and starting time high school, I began to endure from a severe lack of confidence. My grades were bad and I would dread going to school. For a long time I had only given up on life and had counseling and took medication for depression. I was well passed the typical high schoolhouse age subclass and worried that I would never really brand annihilation of myself. This changed when I was told almost Penn Foster High School and learned of its program. After I signed upwards I was relieved to run across how easy information technology was to understand the curriculum and that I could go at my ain pace. With a GPA of 3.58 I became a loftier school graduate on 5/27/2020. I was then happy that I cried and now I finally experience that I fabricated my parents proud. Now I'm prepare to go out there and accept on the side by side claiming. Penn Foster High School gave me my conviction back. My but regret is that I didn't know about it later I finished middle school.

My beau has been submitting his exams. Not helpful/or exams what to do non worded right and not properly explained either comes to exams especially towards the end of the program. Won't get a refund if fully paid merely failed when under academic review that doesn't understand at all. He has submitted all of the work. Has an fantabulous GPA of 3.34. It's only 1 exam that we have left. Nosotros tried to talk to the professors but no luck. It's very annoying the whole process with them.

I canceled on March 23, 2020 because Penn Foster did not accept my official transcript. Some other former online school I went to did accept my official transcript. My mother paid $75.00 for enrollment and $49.00 for the monthly payments. They have taken coin out of her account and will not requite it dorsum. Penn Foster's cancellation policy states "if you cancel more than six days after enrolling only earlier submitting a completed Program assignment, you will receive a refund of all the monies paid to Penn Foster less the registration fee (the "Non-Refundable Registration Fee");".
I did non submit a completed program consignment. I enrolled on March i, 2020. The counterfoil fee besides states that "All refunds will exist issued within thirty days of Penn Foster'south receipt of your notice counterfoil.". My mother has been sending emails to student support, they are holding the money until they become an official transcript mailed from the high school which is closed because nosotros are in a pandemic. There is no possible fashion I can get a transcript information technology is dangerous. I should take listened to the reviews on this site.

I signed up for the HSD program because we are in a pandemic and I thought I could practise something useful with my time. I ran through 2 programs in less than 2 days and realized information technology is more of a cheat programme, not actually educational. The registration said $one registration fee and $l towards my class, and then whatsoever you could afford per month. After starting the programme I realized information technology was going to be almost $2000 for an education that is free then I decided to cancel. Information technology took me a few days to actually go through to a person and once I did they told me I had a balance of $250 that I had to pay. Then $301 for absolutely nothing. Please utilize your local education programs. Don't fall for their price gouging.
